Empyrean Skyview Projects, the division dedicated to Sustainable Mobility & Tourism Infrastructure within FIL Industries Pvt. Ltd., received the distinguished ‘Pathfinder Award for Adventure Infrastructure Innovation’ at the 15th Annual Convention of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI).

The flagship venture of Empyrean Skyview Projects, known as Skyview by Empyrean, is situated in Sanget – Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir, spanning 22 acres. This project seamlessly integrates premium hospitality, adventure, nature, and luxury.

At Skyview by Empyrean, the standout feature is India’s highest gondola, the Skyview Gondola, also recognized as the green gondola, significantly reducing travel time between Sanget valley and Patnitop to just 10 minutes one way. The property boasts a 162-meter magic carpet ride to the top, an all-season tubing sledge with 238 meters of slopes, Asia’s longest zig-zag zip-line spanning 580 meters, as well as offerings like mountain biking, hiking trails, birding, camping, archery, and ATVs. The collaboration with the POMA Group, MND Group, ERIC, and Sage Geotech facilitated the planning, development, and construction of this exceptional property.

ATOAI acknowledged Empyrean Skyview Projects’ outstanding contributions, stating that the recognition reflects the company’s dedication, innovation, and excellence in the sector. Representing Empyrean Skyview Projects, Mr. Upen Anand, General Manager of Skyview by Empyrean, accepted the award on December 17, 2023.

The company’s upcoming project, the Dehradun-Mussoorie ropeway, will utilize Mono-cable Detachable Gondola Technology, adhering to CEN standards. Upon completion in September 2026, it will become India’s longest passenger aerial mono-cable ropeway, connecting the twin cities in just 20 minutes.

Skyview By Empyrean is certified by the Responsible Tourism Society of India (RTSOI), adhering to Sustainable & Responsible Tourism parameters set by RTSOI and the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. This includes a commitment to promoting sustainability management, socio-economic development, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability.

ATOAI, founded in 1994, serves as the national representative body for Indian Adventure Tour Operators. The convention, titled ‘Indian Adventure Travel: Exploring New Frontiers,’ aimed to position India as a global adventure tourism hub and foster collaboration between adventure tourism firms and grassroots operators. The event, held at Praveg Tent City near the Statue of Unity in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, gathered government dignitaries, influential travel conglomerates, and visionary leaders from the travel and tourism industry across India.
