Breaking News: Black Travel Summit 2024—The Future of Black Travelers

The Black Travel Summit (BTS) returns in 2024 with groundbreaking research, bold new ideas, and an announcement that is set to make history. Hosted in partnership with Black Travel Alliance (BTA) and MMGY Global, the summit will unveil crucial new data on Black travelers’ spending habits and tourism trends, continuing the conversation started by the highly influential 2020 study.

Martinique Lewis, Executive Director of the Black Travel Alliance, shared that the new research will provide fresh insights into post-pandemic shifts in Black travel behaviors. “This research goes beyond the numbers,” said Lewis. “It reflects the powerful growth of the Black travel dollar and how the industry can better serve this vibrant and influential community.”

The summit will also announce its first-ever international destination for 2025, signaling the expansion of Black travel into global territories. Anita Moreau, Founder and CEO of Black Travel Summit, shared her excitement: “This is not just a major moment for our organization, but for the entire Black travel community. For the first time, we’re moving beyond U.S. borders to celebrate Black travelers on a global stage.”

The 2024 Black Travel Summit: Event Highlights and Industry Leaders

Taking place at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas from October 10 to 13, 2024, this four-day summit will feature a lineup of Black travel industry leaders, influencers, and entrepreneurs. Prominent speakers include:
